Birth of Muhammad ﷺ
An orphan of noble lineage
He ﷺ was born into Banu Hashim to Abdullah, who had passed away before his birth, and Aminah bint Wahb. Raised first by the wet-nurse Halimah in the open desert of Banu Sa'd, he lost his mother at Al-Abwa while still a small child, and was taken in by his grandfather Abd al-Muttalib.

Family and Lineage
Born into the honoured clan of Banu Hashim, his father Abdullah had died before his birth and his mother was Aminah bint Wahb.

Nursing and Early Orphanhood
He was nursed by Halimah in the desert of Banu Sa'd, then lost his mother at Al-Abwa and was raised by his grandfather Abd al-Muttalib.
